INgredients for beef roast recipe
•1 ea chuck roast 2 - 4 lbs ( 1 - 2 kg)
•1 medium sized onion; chopped
•1 cup flour
•1 tablespoon garlic powder
•1 tablespoon onion powder
•1 tablespoon pepper; coarse
•2 tablespoon bacon fat or grease
•1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
•1 pkt vegetable soup
•1/4 cup wine, sherry or water
•1 qt stock or water
Method for beef roast recipe
1.coat the meat wiith mixture of flour garlic and onion powers and pepper .
2.in a medium to high heat range add butter or olive oil to a large frying pan - when the pan is hot enough add onions and cook for some minutes and remove the and place thet in a crockpot.
3.now add the coated beff roast to the pan cook untill the beef is turns brown on all sides .
4.now place this roast beef over the onions in the crockpot and add 2 tablespoons of the flour mixtture over this .
5.Deglaze the pan with wine , water & vinegar and add this over roast beef in that crockpot. boil stock in a pan .
6.at last open the packet of dried vegetable soup and roast in crockpot sprinkle. close it and cook in low for about 10 hours, turn the roast at 8hours.
7.This give a Awesome gravy with beef
8.10 hours of cooking will be good - or the meat may become hard.
9.serving hot over mashed potatoes and roast pieces is delicious .
